Misunderstandings are commonplace and happen every day. Rather than being evaluated as failure, they can be seen as a challenge and a chance. This exhibition brings together works of nine artists who work with the creative force of misunderstandings, and their inexhaustible potential. Here, misunderstandings are regarded as creative principle and productive trouble that encourage experimentation with standardized procedures. Without the beautiful and interesting aspect of double meanings and ambiguity, neither humor, freedom, richness of ideas, progress, nor vision would be imaginable.

With the kind support of the German General Consulate Istanbul.
